We will not have a formal registration for this day, however there will be sign in sheets for recertification certificates and people will be available to guide you to the various rooms for the professional learning communities.  The second attachment provides a better overview of which Edmentum training would work best for you.  The Exact Path is a program designed for K-6 classrooms and the Courseware program supports more of the middle school/high school instruction.

If you have access to a laptop/chrome book/iPad/tablet and would like to utilize it for the trainings there will be access to WIFI.  Bringing a device is not a requirement and the trainers will not be addressing individual student data or access but they will be providing an overview of the program and its possible usage within your classroom.

Courseware is not only a credit recovery or supplement program for additional courses to be offered within your district, it can also be used as a support and implementation of blended  learning within your content area.  The trainers will offer various ways to apply this tool for your classroom.

The Exact Path Program uses the data from your students NWEA test results and creates a customized learning path focusing on areas of need. The trainers will focus on general navigation of the solution, how to interpret a student’s learning path, and where to find RTI/MTSS resources to use with your whole class, small group, and/or individual students.

This year’s PLC (Professional Learning Communities) will be lead by the area instructors who are currently enrolled in the UCCS Leadership/Principal Cohort.  They will be guiding the group discussion on strategies that you are currently utilizing within your classroom, concerns/challenges you would like input or ideas from others who might have dealt with the same concerns, and recording you input on what professional development offerings you would like to see the BOCES secure to best support your classroom instruction.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Friday, November 17th
