  **NOTICE OF INTENT TO DESTROY CONFIDENTIAL RECORDS**

Student's special education records will be destroyed according to Colorado State Archives Guidelines, five years after the student moves to another district, graduates or otherwise stops receiving special education services from Southeastern BOCES. 

Student files with a birthday prior to the year 2000 are being destroyed.

The student or parent/guardian may obtain a copy of the records at 7784 Saddle Club Drive in Lamar. 

You will have until OCTOBER 30 to request records. 

Mailing records will cost $7.00. 

Photo identification will be required.
